Owners of older Volvo XC90s SUV should keep careful note of their vehicles’ headlights and turn signal systems.

According to Bloomberg, which cites the NHTSA, up to 93,487 2004-2005 Volvo XC90s could be affected by malfunctioning headlight and turn signal systems, among other components. Defects in such systems could increase the likelihood of a crash and 21 related complaints have been submitted thus far. According to the NHTSA, the malfunctions are often intermittent. No crashes or injuries have been reported as of yet.

“We will provide all the information that NHTSA asks and we’ll work closely with the agency to make sure the issue is resolved,” Volvo representative James Hope told Bloomberg.

Recently, Volvo recalled several hundred thousand C30, S40 and V50 models for loose manual transmission gear levers.
