Among enthusiasts, the BMW 1-Series is a highly anticipated vehicle with its unique, hatch-back looks and, hopefully, inexpensive pricing (for a BMW, that is).
Well, the former can be dashed for the moment. While the 1-Series is coming to the U.S., reports are coming that BMW will be getting rid of the oh-so-convenient hatchback design and stick, instead, a trunk. Also to go will be the roof; the 1-Series may be a convertible.
BMW has yet to confirm, or deny, these changes. Our take? Bring both to maximize both tastes and profits.
