People who like massive bass coming from their car audio system should be happy to hear that Hifonics, a division of Maxxsonics USA, has introduced the MXL-100 Maxx Link, a universal amplifier bridging and synchronization module.

The device permtts the connection of up to five amplifiers into a master and slave configuration. Now multiple amplifiers like five mono-block subwoofer amplifiers can be joined to create one huge subwoofer amplifier output channel.  The unit comes with a remote mounted level control that indicates when the amplifiers are clipping while also serving as the master gain control.

Other features include switchable master and slave controls and a built-in test tone generator to help set up the system.

Full details can be found at the link. MSRP for the MXL-100 Maxx Link is $179.
