Ford Mustang GT-R concept

Here’s a concept you could literally build on your own.

The Ford Mustang GT-R concept racecar will be making an appearance at the upcoming Michigan International Auto Show next month. The concept, built on the now well-known 2005 retro Mustang, utilizes Ford Racing’s 5.0-liter "Cammer" V-8 which can generate up to 505 horsepower. Since the GT-R was designed from parts found in Ford Racing’s catalog, it could easily become reality and tested on some of the world’s roughest racetracks.

Currently, the engine and harness kits are available for purchase. Other parts, such as the spoiler, are also being considered for further development.

The full press release can be found at the link. Our take? A build-at-home concept? Where do we sign up!
