2008 Honda Accord: More Acura, less bland?

Mobile Magazine obtained a few more pictures of the possible 2008 Accord which will debut at the North American International Auto Show this month.



Mobile is not too sure of the pictures validity despite being pulled from the Honda website. They feel they may be images of the next generation Acura TSX. There are also pictures of the Honda Sport4 concept which, to our eyes, closely resembles the Pontiac G6 and Acura TL.

Our take? The Accord’s the third best selling sedan in the U.S. following, interestingly enough, its smaller Civic sibling. (The Toyota Camry sits in the number one spot.) Honda is definitely interested in maintaining its position and the new Accord, despite rave reviews, is consider quite conservative in design when compared to, again, the Civic which have been selling like hotcakes. We bet Japan’s third largest automaker is hoping to repeat the experience with the new Accord
