Jeep Trailhawk Concept To Sweep Down at Detroit Auto Show

With the North America International Auto show literally days away, concepts have been dropping out of the sky. Behold: the Jeep Trailhawk.

Hawk-like expression on the front fascia gives it its name. Carrying a 3.0 liter BLUETEC 215 horsepower diesel, the vehicle features removable tinted glass panels over the first and second row seats and cargo compartment. A swing-up backlight makes it easy to read during that upward trail. Finally, Jeep continues to live up to its reputation for off-road prowess by using its new Wrangler Unlimited platform and combining traditional off road features with genteel on road cruising capabilities.

Our take? A so-called "manly" version to the Chrysler PT Cruiser convertible?
