Hyundai Motor Co. released pricing information on its 2007 Tiburon coupe.
Three trims are available. The base GS trim starts at $17,195; the GT at $19,895; and the SE trim $22,595. All prices include destination charges.
Standard features new for 2007 across all trims include ability to play MP3 and a tire pressuring monitor. Engine choices include a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine (GS) and a 2.7 liter (GT and SE).
Our take? While not in the leagues of a BMW or even a Mazda in terms of “true” sports handling, the Tiburon makes a statement with its sleek looks especially when compared to its Hyundai brethren. With the high-end GT topping the model’s price range around $23,000, buyers in the market for a coupe cruiser like a Toyota Camry Solara should also give the Tiburon a go.
