General Motors will debut a special edition of its popular Chevy HHR crossover at the North America International Auto Show in Detroit next month.
The $995 Premiere Edition packaging adds such cool features as 17 inch chrome black wheels, spoiler, custom floor mats, and black and gray interior to the standard HHR 2LT trim. A full list can be found in the press release below. The 2.4 liter Ectotec engine from the 2LT will continue to power the Premiere Edition.
Our take? The standard HHR 2LT starts at $19,350, so the near extra $1000 will cost buyers little when wanting a hot looking retro.

Since its launch, HHR has received five-star crash ratings – the highest rating awarded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program.
