Automaker General Motors has notified its dealers to hold off sales of its new GMC Acadia (pictured) and Saturn Outlook crossover utility vehicles (CUV) until engineers repair a problem with an engine mount. Water could collect in the mount and freeze which could have called vibration when the engine is started.

GM has added the fix to its assembly line. Only 550 vehicles have been shipped to dealers. The lucky few will make the repairs which reqires drilling drainage holes into an engine moun.  However, GM only expects sales to be delayed for just a couple of days.

Our take? In today's highly competitive market, it's a smart move for all automakers to showcase their latest products in the best possible light.
