General Motors Begins Nationwide Low APR Special

General Motors is pushing its used cars by offering attractive percentage rate financing. The automaker is offering 2.9 percent for up to five years on 2002 through 2007 Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierra pickups (pictured), and 5.9 percent APR on 2002 through 2007 Chevrolet Impalas and Trailblazers, Pontiac Grand Prix, and Buick Rendezvous. The deal is for GM Certified used vehicles only and will last through April 3.

DETROIT - GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry's top-selling manufacturer-certified used vehicle brand*, announced yesterday a new nationwide rate incentive program on select GM vehicles, including the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks.

The new rate incentive offer is effective January 17, 2007 through April 3, 2007. It provides well-qualified buyers with GMAC 2.9% or 5.9% APR financing for terms up to 60 months on select GM Certified Used Vehicles purchased from participating GM Certified Used Vehicles dealers.

Well-qualified GM Certified customers can receive GMAC 2.9% APR financing for terms up to 60 months on 2002-2007 models of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks. Or customers can receive GMAC 5.9% APR financing for terms up to 60 months on 2002-2007 models of Chevrolet Impala, TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT; GMC Envoy, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV and Envoy Denali; Pontiac Grand Prix and Buick Rendezvous vehicles at participating GM Certified Used Vehicles dealers.

For example, with a 10% down payment, a monthly payment at 2.9% APR financing for 60 months is $17.92 for every $1,000 financed and at 5.9% APR financing for 60 months is $19.29.
