Dodge Nitro: Machismo Continues To Turn Heads

Cute, represented by the Neon, is now gone in its Dodge brand. First came the Caliber with its "Anything But Cute" moniker. Now its joined by the Nitro.

Load and go seems to be the philosophy behind the new Dodge Nitro. The vehicle includes a movable shelf in the cargo area to make loading items easier. The stretched chassis increases space by four inches, comfortably fitting four adults as they stretch for those long-distance trips.

A 110 volt outlet is available for use of home electronics products, an iPod jack, Bluetooth phone connection, and satellite navigation and entertainment system that allows music and photos to be downloaded to a 20 gig hard drive.

Standard equipment includes electronic stability and traction control, and antilock disc brakes.

Our take? Seems like a great combination of concepts -- functionality, comfort, and a little bit of fun.
