If you’re a Mustang fan, you may want to check out The Mustang News’ (TMN) coverage of the top ten events involving everyone’s favorite pony car.

Some of this year’s bright spots include:

  1. $600,000 2007 Ford Shelby GT-500 sale at Barrett-Jackson: The six-figure amounts thrown out like bathwater dropped jaws as history was made.
  2. 2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones Limited Edition Mustang: TMN loved this rendering courtesy of Steve Saleen and Parnelli Jones.
  3. 2006 Shelby GT-H Hertz Rental Car: Good-bye, Taurus. Hello, fun.
  4. 2007 Shelby GT Mustang: Look for it at Barrett-Jackson next month.
  5. Ford’s Bold Moves Documentary Series: If you ever wanted to know how Ford “worked”, check out this site.
  6. 2009, 2010, 2011 Mustang: Lots of facts and myths intermixed at this site.
  7. Giugiaro Mustang Concept (pictured): Mustang by way of Italy.
  8. 2009 Camaro & 2009 Challenger: Mustang finally gets some stiff competition. Personally, we agree with TMN that Ford can only improve with the Camaro and Challenger breathing down the Mustang’s neck.
  9. 2008 Bullitt: We can’t wait to see the production versions of this car. Will it debut next month in Detroit? Or do we have to wait until New York?
  10. Bill Ford steps down: We continue to wait with bated breath as new CEO Mulally leaves his mark on the Blue Oval.
