The Car Connection (TCC) posted a spy shot of the upcoming Jaguar S-Type.
TCC reports that, according to insider info, the S-Type has been redesigned from its retro look with styling cues from the RD6 and 6 concepts. Computer drawings were added to the article to illustrate what the concept, which was camouflaged, might look like it goes on sale in 2008.
Full details of the engines are currently unknown. Speculation has it that the new sedan will use the current S-Type engine lineup plus an additional one from XKR.
Our take? We’re currently withholding opinion. The Jaguar brand is a sore point among us, with one side fawning all over the current style while the rest admiring Audi’s latest offerings. (Can you figure which side wrote this post?)
