Hyundai expanding lineup with new vehicle models

On-line magazine Winding Road posted that, during test-drive event last month, Hyundai Vice President for Product Development John Krafcik stated that the Korean automaker has several new models down the pipeline.

The automaker at least four new vehicles. One is based on the Portico concept (pictured), first shown at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show.

It is unknown when the new vehicles will ultimately go into production, if at all. Winding Road speculates we won’t even see concepts, let alone pre-production models, until the end of the decade. Hyundai has stated in the past it plans to be among the top five automakers in the world by that time, and it will be interesting to see how the new models mesh with its plans.
