Chrysler PT Cruiser number one in ease-to-service listing

The National Oil & Lube News (NOLN) released its Fast Lube Operators Survey which reveal which vehicles and even brands were the easiest and the most difficult to service.

Owners of Chrysler’s PT Cruiser now have another point to crow about their vehicles with the Cruiser pulling ahead of the Chevrolet Tahoe and its GMC sibling as easiest to service. Same with owners of the (now defunct) Dodge Neon which is based on the PT Cruiser’s chassis.

Other vehicles voted as easiest to service include the Ford F-150 and Taurus; Honda Accord and Civic; and Toyota Camry and Corolla. Among brands, General Motors was number one followed by Chrysler, Honda, and Ford.

Worst brand and vehicle is the Nissan Frontier pickup, pushing aside the Lexus RX SUV which replaced it last year.

Our take? Interesting information to consider when purchasing a new vehicles or trying to understand why car service has one’s vehicle for so long.
