The Yaris is Toyota’s major foray into the inexpensive, compact car since the automaker discontinued its Echo. The subcompact, also known worldwide as the Vitz, went on sale this year.
Toyota, though, is not resting on its laurels regarding its entry vehicle. The company plans to unveil a sporty limited edition, named the TS, at the Paris Auto Show later this month.
The Yaris TS has been customized with a black mesh grille, 17 inch wheels, and chromed exhaust pipes. The four-cylinder engine pumps out 132 horsepower with a top speed of 120 mph.
There is no pricing information at this time. While the TS will most likely go on sale in Europe next year, it’s unknown if it’ll also be sold in the U.S. Our take, though, is that it most likely will. While the Yaris is more interesting looking than its Echo predecessor or its Scion brethren, the TS is even more impressive.
