The Dodge Avenger concept first made its debut at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show. The Avenger, which is to replace the Dodge Stratus, is shorter than its predecessor, built more like a four-door coupe or car-shaped SUV than a mid-size sedan. The concept was shown with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine though most likely that will be optional. Instead, a 2.4 liter, four-cylinder engine, will be standard.
