In a move that’s surely going to raise some ruffles if not outright battles, Assemblyman Paul Koretz, D-West Hollywood, has introduced Assembly Bill (AB) 379 which would prohibit smoking in any vehicle with when a passenger is 6 years old or younger or weighs less than 60 pounds. Fines would start at $100 and can rise up to $350 after assessment. Note the bill does not consider if the vehicle windows are open.
